New Projects Coming...

A lovely new years holiday and a good start to another year of creating... I made my own Anna Maria version of The Wasp Bag. I wrestled with this bag a bit, and it took me longer than I liked - but that was partially due to a little less than enough fabric and wanting it my way ANYWAYS... so I did some piecing to use as much of this half yard of fabric (which was a lovely christmas present) as I could. Hooray!


So what comes next on my list? I've some other brand new Anna Maria cotton voile I was given for Christmas I can't wait to use - they're intended for some delves farther into clothing - a dress (using a new colette pattern - Chantilly!), a blouse, we'll see what else. I hope to start making more clothing, and to learn to construct it in a more solid way.
